The only place you found? Try again:http://www.rockfax.com/databases/results_area.html?id=2...Horseshoe quarry has lots of vertical routes. Some of the rock is slightly dodgy, though the main wall is fine. You'll be fine with your 50m rope. But it's not the best the peak has to offer.
Maybe not the best, but unfortunately in low grade sport routes, its pretty much all the peak has to offer
With more and more people operating in the middle grades- from F5 to F7a, the need for information on these routes has never been greater. This is a guide to the best concentrations of these climbs, detailing almost 750 climbs and 15 crags, all within the abilities of a great number of climbers.Richly illustrated with photo-topos, maps and action photos, this guide also contains a comprehensive graded list and first ascent details. Written and researched by the area's leading activist, and with input from all the key players, this guide gives the most complete and most accurate record of sport climbs in the area. It brings to life a whole new array of climbs that have never been presented in proper guide book form before, and is guaranteed to guide and inspire all mid-grade sport climbers who climb in the Peak District.Crags covered are Horseshoe Quarry, Hall Dale Quarry, Cawdor Quarry, Crag X, Deep Dale, Lorry Park Quarry, Slaley Brook, Intake Quarry, Devonshire Buttress, Blatant Buttress, Blackwell Halt, Deep Dale, Smalldale and Harpur Hill.
Harpur Hill is meant to be quite good.
