Im hopefully gonna commit and move to llanberis in the summer - anyone know what its like to get a room there or rent a flat?  if not any locals wanna gernerously put me up till i find a place of my own? :D

It's generally harder to find somewhere to rent in the summer as there are more people around (like you) looking for places to stay.
I'd start looking now, leave your details in the local climbing shops (V12, Browns) and up at the Beacon. Just keep asking around, something will turn up.

(No room in my mansion unfortunately at the moment.)
