I have read with interest of your restorative efforts on gritstone bouldering classics and I am curious as to the exact techniques invovled. Fear not the reason for this curiosity has nothing to do with the wholesale stabilisation of the bottom two feet of Bridestones, but rather a more domestic application. I have a house built of stone with some york stone flooring. In areas this stone has started to delaminate and I would like to stabilise these parts to stop further spread. The trouble is that all the products I have seen add a very unnatural shiny sheen to the rock, which I want to avoid at all costs. Your top secret technique does sound like it might provide an answer however I can understand why you may be hesitant to detail it online. However I was wondering if you might be willing to share the details via a PM?
I remain as ever etc etc
