I just want to gauge popular opinion here. It has been my strong belief for a long time that raspbery flavoured things are far superior to strawberry flavour things. Yet strawberry seems to be the default flavour for sweets, ice-cream etc. Take any bag of run-of-the-mill sweets, chances are the red ones are strawberry. Go to an ice-cream van, everything is strawberry, while raspberry is relegated to the humble ripple and the sauce on a 99. Why is this? Is there a conspiracy? What do you recon?
