FS: 1996 Fiat Punto
February 21, 2006, 11:16:29 am
Due to 'timewasters' the Punto is for sale again. (One person can't afford to insure it as he has not passed his test yet, the other 'wanted power steering'!)

I'd like £700 for it.
It's a 1996 P reg, 95k on the clock, 'go faster' red...
Has full MOT but only taxed until end of Feb.
2 owners (including me) from new - I have had it for 6 years.

It has been really well maintained and is in really good condition for its age.

Recent jobs include:
New timing belt at about 75k miles
2 new tyres, other 2 are fine
New oil/filter and associated bits.
New injector pack.
Head skimmed about 5000 miles ago.

It's a great little car - dead basic, VERY cheap to run (about 320-380 miles on a full tank - about £35) and to insure.
Starts first time, every time.
Interior is pristine apart from a bit of foam out of the back of one of the headrests.
Can get 90 out of it (not that I would, of course...)
Ideal for tootling, great in snow and will cope with longer runs just fine.
Nothing flash like a CD player - just a Sony radio/cassette player. (Will throw in 'For those about to rock' by AC/DC for free!)

Mail me if you want more info, or if you'd like to see it.
It's in Sheffield.
So am I.
