making the most of limited space
February 20, 2006, 05:22:53 pm
Right, due to moving in to my new place I have unfortunately a lot less space to continue with my training at home.

I used to have a beast of a fingerboard mounted to an old swing frame, which was pretty awesome. There is just no way this will fit anywhere in my current place, as the garden is a lot, lot smaller.

Anyone know of a smaller fingerboard which will happily sling over a pull-up bar? Rock rings are ok, but too juggy for what I really need. I don't really want to bolt a board to the wall; the missus will go mental.

Cheers!

Jon.

make a custom fingerboard out of a couple of bits of wood and some ply - can be mounted to a pullup bar/s.

If kim sees this maybe he can post a photo of his arrangement along these lines. Then You will know how not to build one.

A photo of a setup would be wicked - i think without some reference, my attempt would resemble a car-crash of mdf  :D
