I've added a new forum style - "Avalanche".

One of the best phpbb styles I've yet to see and I'll be using it myself from now on.

You can select it from your profile page.

If it proves popular then I'll update it with correct logos, etc.

Let me know if you like it.

Looks sweet, but seems a bit slow or is that just till it cache's some pages?

Probably just the server being slow - the style shouldn't make much difference.

also can't edit posts and can you please put:
http://www.ukbouldering.com/board/search.php?search_id=newposts on every page at the top so I don't keep having to go back to the main menu.

I can see "edit posts" ok.

If we keep this style then I'll put the search newposts links in coz that is pretty handy.

It is narrow but I kind of like it like that.

If any more really high quality themes appear, I might include them as well.

Ok, just checked and I mistakenly installed this thinking it was a supported style....and it's not...

sorry folks, am deleting now.

Anyone using this style has been sent back to the default one.

I'll try to find some more interesting ones that *are* supported coz I'm a bit sick of the default...change is as good as a rest as they say.

That said, it seems to be working fine on another forum I run...ho hum, never mind.

phpbb 3.0 will be out soon and then I'll be developing a unique ukb style then anyway.

Holy shit, in that case the problem was probably nothing to do with the style!

I might put it back in in that case. Not sure what your problems are down to Jim, I'll see if I can find out now.

heres anutha spanner in the works bubbs - i selectad the new style, then after a bit of a look round the forum it switched to the Hestis style (which i wasn't on int the first place) - i go to profile to change it and the new style is gone?

is this mental, orhave you taken the new style off at the mo or summert if you are working on it?

Tis ok Dave - I deleted the style coz of Jim's problems and reset everyone using it back to the default. If I hadn't have done this you'd have not been able to get onto the forum.

BUT.... since it only seems to be Jim getting this weirdness, I've re-instated it, so you can now select it in your profile again now.

I really should do more testing

well its only this thread I have the full weirdness in. in another thread I can do everything except delete my posts (even tho I was the last poster) and another thread I can do everything in. starnge. this is in all the forum stylee's and after login in and login out.
