Why is that? Because he let it go? Don't most fishermen in the UK let go of what they catch? The challenge is in the catching not the killing or so I always seem to see...

He 'caught' it, but he didn't catch it, if you know what I mean. He was still in the water, and if the Marlin had wanted to get away he probably would have been able to fairly easily (I reckon). He didn't weigh it either did he? Or is that only do-able after the kill? I'm looking at it from the point of view that (I'm poor, therefore) if I caught anything, I'd take it home and eat it as a free meal (obviously the cost of the helicopter would make it quite an expensive meal all told).

Sorry, it would appear I'm going for the post with the highest ratio of parentheses to words!
