Inspired by this snippet on a French forum, I have just returned from a lunchtime look-see:

If you are ever climbing at Russan/Seynes/Claret or anywhere else around the Herault/Gard in Southern France then do not visit this so-called bouldering venue.

It is a single undercut buttress, about 6 or 7m high and bulging. There are indeed a number of mono and bidoigt pockets to be pulled on.

Unfortunately this is because it's a totally shitty sandy conglomerate.

The pockets are the spaces left by rounded peddles which have wisely decided to join their friends in the muddy stream just below.

Pulling too hard on any part of the crag could lead to a sandy hold explosion, followed by "thud" and "putain!!"


This has been a public service crag-slagging.
