Can anyone recomend a good Sheffield based physio that knows about climbing (especially finger injuries)?

My mate has done in his finger (prob an A2 pully) and im encouraging him to get it checked out, as he moans that it hurts, but wont stop climbing!

what with mum being a physio an that ive got a copy of the OCPPP directory. there are a ton of physios in sheff all over the shop. name a bit o town and ill give u some details.

although she did say that a "hand specialist" would be better.

Anywhere in Shef really but i guess the closer to Broomhill or the Foundry the better, but it really doesnt matter.

It would be good if they work at the weekends as well.

Do you have info on any hand specialists, or just physios?

Who was that guy who used to do clinics at the Foundry (in the office upstairs).

He knew what was what.

Mind you, that was about 5 years ago - and I can't actually remember why I went to see him....

John Ostrovskis from The Clinic on abbeydale road is good, I think he was the one who did the Foundry clinics

Kin Thompson might be the man for the job though, as he climbs font 8a on little rat-grips. Think his place is in hathersage, but he lives in Sheff I think.

as far as hand specialists are concerned, no idea in the sheffied area, the old dear only knows ones down here (london). im sure any good physio would give you the info you need.
