A great effort and well done indeed, but not exactly surprising...  Simpsons ticklist from the past few months is unbelievable.  Something silly like 34 8a to 8c+ routes in his six weeks in the Frankenjura according to that report in the latest Friction magazine.  Plus all the stuff in Buoux and the UK in between trips to Germany.

Great effort to Rich. He battled against shitty conditions for weeks, and then some friendly rivalry with Dai Koyamada.  I'm sure he'll give a full report when he get's a chance.

True, I didn't mean to degrade his effort and persistence by any stretch, the amount of work involved goes without saying.  Plus his willingness to head over there again to bag the route is something few people would do.  A huge talent nonetheless.
