Shamone!

I could really have posted this on the funny pic thread, but it doesnt quite fit. Genius photo taken from alongside whilst making the second clip on a route in der Krankenjura - not the most appropriate of times to be having a quick feel, but, if the mood takes you!

Is that Hurrican? The frankenjura's answer to Rattle and Hump?

certainly is mate! Hurrikan actually felt easier than Elektrische Sturm in der holle to the right, however, apparently when elektric storm was climbed the start hold was a big jug, its now a sloping dish thing. I probably had 100 goes on the first move, then when I finally did the move I got right to the top before (pumped stupid) fluffing the sequence.

It then took about another 20 goes to do the first move again - ace route.

I took 8a for Hurrican, but I needed the boost that trip. If it were at the snor, however...

that's one great thing about the UIAA grades in the Jura, if you're feeling down about your climbing you can just use an optimistic conversion. Ace.

I took the word of the locals over that of the Simpsonator and took the mighty 8a.
