I've got a fancy new one you see, it looks like this:-

And on that note, does anyone have any good books or advice for a newbie to digital photography?

Sorry, what was I thinking of - the hard sell.... its a really basic digital camera with no zoom, no movie features, takes piccies up to 1600*1200 and at 2MP depth.

It looks like this:-

If anyone from here wants it, you can have it with an extra 128MB memory card!

Oooh! get you! those 7 series cameras are awesome! well pricey though, but good!

I will be snap happy now - mad keen to get out and find out what all the buttons do! for early snaps from the new camera have a look here (and yes, they are shit photos! thats me not the camera!)
