Me and scouse dogg busted a punk ass down to stanton island yesterstag. Spare rib looked good but was roasting in tha sun, we went up to king stone, did that plaque thing, and also that V7 dyno with the slopey top hold - mental. Not a badplace really, Brad's wall looked good if a little hot. Bo.

P.S. does anyone know why james' problem Resistance is Futile is listed as V4 in the OTE topo (its blatantly V8ish) and similarly the V8/9 wall to the left of it is listed as V3 in the OTE topo?

Wonder why perc did it? Your arete is blatantly harder than Mammoth UFOs from standing, you'd think V4 or whatever would be clearly out of the question! Has that "V13?" project right of The Plaque been done yet, there was lots of chalk on the 2 slopers on sunday?

I dont think it has been done yet?  Mr Welford did a 7b+ that starts from the plaque and goes to the slopers, I think it is called "The Green Man".
Cheers

Another Ben Masterton style attack on the dam at Rubicon would soon sort that out. Don't think the fishermen would be overjoyed about it though.

Big sesh in the gym on Friday neet, followed by Cratcliffe / Eagle on Sat with NortonSharley. Great to be out on such a nice day but it was a bit hot, though not too bad under cover of the trees at Eagle.

Was planning to get out Sunday but the 4.30am finish after a mate's 30th birthday on Sat put paid to that and I nursed a grim hangover for most of the day....never again!!

Was a bit greasy at Raven Tor, had a go at a route to see what kind of spanking i'm in for when start sport climbing again. Wasn't too bad just a bit Greasy.  Saw the Katz do his first ever sport route, Rattle and Hump 1st RP.

I pressume by the Katz you mean Mark Katz? If you know him could you do me a favour and ask him where his route Particle Exchange goes on the boulder at the Roaches. There is some confusion. Does it go straight up the arete without using the crack or ?????
Any info would be welcome...
