Someone recommended accupuncture for all my joint based ailments...

Has anyone tried it and does it work, ie is it worth me spending some of my hard earned student loan on it.

had some during knee recuperation. Couldn't tell you whether it helped. Didn't mind the first session, but by the sixth I was dreading them.... one in my shin that made me spasm from my big toe to the top of my neck. Minging.
