Perfect conditions on Wednesday from what I hear Dobbin. Apparently, some total wad strolled up Tsunami. That's what I heard anyway,  :jaw:

Just come back from Kudos wall. All dry, a little bit of residual dampness at the back of certain deep pockets but does not affect the climbing at all. The warm up area is fooked though, wet and greasier than a mechanic's rag!

I heard that conditions were still pretty good, and that another two local heroes romped up my arch nemesis. Nice work boys.  :great:

Cheers for reminding me that I still had this to do. Classic problem. You don't want to hear what kind of technical ineptitude went on though....

Good conditions today on kudos wall, a fair bit of the warm-up area looked dry (though your pad's gonna get wet), rubicon itself looked pretty dry.

85% good at kudos wall up to 17:45 last night - serious amounts of snow in the air mind, and it was a wee bit cheesy on some holds.

3 tier: no water, but very muddy
Traverse to the right: few dry patches, but mostly mud.

I wouldn't bother unless you have a big plastic sheet.

Check the Metoffice's rainfall radar before you set off. In typical April weather as we've been having checking the recent past weather info is far more useful than a forecast. Metcheck is a joke. Nicely laid out info does not trump accuracy imo.

Called in today (Fri). Kudos Wall was in excellent condition. A good drying breeze and no seepage. The Three Tiers bit was largely dry but the ground was quite muddy and the lowest footholds were damp. There was still a pond underneath Rubicon itself.

Less good later on in the day.  Was very cold but a fair amount of moisture in the air

Totally dry this eve if anyone's wondering... felt slightly muggy to me as it got late, but that's just my excuse for falling off the 'easy' end bit of kudos traverse 3 times in a row :spank:
