So how many repeats has Slashface had now? Is it going the same way as Dreamtime?

I believe he has. I dont mean the grade is under dispute, more that it is almost a trade route now.

Not that I'm saying it is easy or that fred isn't THE wad.

On the subject of Fred being a WAD

http://climbing.com/news/twonicoletests/

I guess he still thinks dreamtime has been chipped.

Sam says he can't mantle. Reckons he'd leave the plantation with his pants round his ankles. And he's scared of heights....

....sometimes the hardest moves are closest to the ground.... thank god, eh, Fred? Watch me back!

I think we should have an international bouldering meet specifically to try and repeat the Beast.

I second. Who is taking the minutes?

Fred is obviously just bitter that other people are capable. And as for Bern 'stupid name' zanzibar he doesn't know his arse from admitedly strong elbow.

"One cannot let grass grow under one's feet—that's why I gave it a third try," Zangerl said of his successful third visit to America. "How do you say? All good things happen in threes!"

This means he thought the previous two incidents of heel smash and tendon frot were good things. Euros.

Perhaps he meant third time lucky. The fact he asked how you say it suggests he wasn't quite certain. Think you're being a bit harsh - how many of us could say the same phrase in German?

Dritten Stuck gibt Gluck. ?

That's my best effort.

My German's dodgy, but my acronym speak is worse.    What the devil does HALAM mean?

By the by, I just checked google, apparently the way to say it is:

Quote
drittes Mal glücklich

So next time anyone here manages to complete a V14 on the third trip (after two trips when they wreck their tendons and ankles, though I guess you could damage other body parts if you wanted), and then gets interviewed by a German climbing website, y'all know what to say if you want respect on boulderausch.de...

Took me a little while to find that site. I was aiming for the german equivalent of ukb. Is that it, or is there another?
