Bouldering Mat For Sale
March 05, 2005, 11:17:11 pm
I'm thinking of selling my hardly used Red Chili Bouldering Mat, like the one below.

I've only used it about half a dozen times but I have realised now that I have too many hobbies so bouldering has to go, as to be any good at it I should be 6" taller, 2 stones lighter and I'm the wrong side of 35 :-(

I bought it for £95 last summer (before the rains) and its in 99.9% of it's original condition.

My Question Is.
What would be the best time of year to put it on a certain auction site to get a £60 (& carriage) return on it, as it's now valued at £100 + £5 carriage?

My answer is: Don't sell it (unless you intend trading in for a better design - heard of Franklin, Pod, etc?), and whatever you do, don't give up on bouldering.

If you give up on bouldering, you've given up on life.

Fuck some of them other 'hobbies' off first - do you really need to go horse riding every week?

You could just sell it to me for £60. Fraid that would have to include P&P though, unless you live either near cambridge or linclolnshire. They are very rare on ebay but only fetch £30 - £40 from the ones i have seen. One this size may fetch £60 if you were lucky.

I would suggest you sold it in June for this. Thats when people wanna buy them i reckon.
