Anyone have any knowledge on this? Is it out? Is it any cop? Is it full of red lines on snowy mountains?

It looks very nice, but contains lots of shit.  I read it in the shop and didn't want to part with £3.50!
They are still doing the idiotic 'ruin a classic boulder problem' series.

They've gone for the ultimate crossover article - bouldering in the Himalayas... Hope they put that in to take this piss. One of the Chowderstone problems ruined this time picnic sarcastic maybe?

Lots of red lines on mountains and low grade grit fun, plus more 'oooh i'm really weak honest' self deprecation from mr McClure, which is probably the best bit.

yeah, look at how fat and crap he is! I do love his writing though, quite cool that he still thinks he's rubbish and most of his ascents are luck...

His recent article in OTE about 'winners' and 'Jack Osborne' was a bit lame though

Oh yeah, was that the DWS one? Forgot about that, not up to his usual standard. but it was part of that whole X1 sports thing - i have a sinister feeling about that organisation for some reason...

XTREEEEE333££M!!!

I presume it's not just me that views ever-so-bloody-trendy fashion-driven (not fashion-setting) red-bull-fueled companies and people jumping on the outdoor action bandwagon to futher their desperately shallow image with a healthy mixture of patronising amusment and outright contempt??

P.S. No idea about the mag but I'll give it a try for a few issues.

It was good to see a Photo of Gaz parry at my local crag on his latest V11. It gave a comprahensive list of his new problems there and went onto say you could get directions on how to find it on yorkshiregrit.com, thing is they forgot to say it's name.

Good - Wouldn't want the "pissing, littering and shouting yoofs" up there.
Fantastic video of growled on Yorkshire Grit.
Good to see Gaz puffing at the end!

Funny that 'cause I did mention where it was when I sent the shot in. Still it keeps people guessing  :?

Went int Smiths intending on giving it a look, but it was sealed in plastic, so couldn't really see if it was worth it. Plugeed for latest climber instead, safer option.

I like SteveMac, he's a nice dude. Generally his writing is good too. I liked the Petzl RocTrip thing he wrote when he went to some French place, that was entertaining.

This new magazine is dull as fuck. I am disappointed, and whats worse, I have a subscription!

I looked in WHSmith and have to say, if that's the best you can do get another job.

It looks like a well off 6th former's end of year project.

To further confound my misery I got force given another copy at Olympia on Sunday!

Its a wierd mag, the layout is odd, theres pictures without captions and oh, who cares - I'm not sold.

I didn't find the first issue that bad to be honest - good range of topics covered (if you're just after bouldering its a bit weak but the Alpine stuff etc. was ok)

Sure, its far from perfect but definately a step up from what OTE had been churning out of late - guess you lot are just perfectionists and i'm just easily pleased

Malc is in the back pages this time. Worth reading that bit at least.
