Had a look for Percy's new tings, couldn't find 'em tho, any one got the 411??

Just to point out that they're not really Percy's new things, the block was discovered by someone else who climbed the left arete, and then introduced the fitz to it to both climb the central line, then told Percy who got the right arete and the column inches. Minor point but keeping it fair.

P.S. Was dry in Font, I think someone mentioned that?

As it was in Bishop at the Buttermilks and The Happy Boulders - perfect cold conditions for me and Andy R to enjoy... pics to follow next week

So what happened THIS weekend??

Didn't get out at all and heard very mixed reports conditions-wise...

Not a whole bunch. Half arsed day at curbar, did Canoe, Kayak, Finger Distance, Done years ago etc, flailed on some 7b+/7c and had to leave early to go to family do.
Sunday, late start finally found dry rock at Froggat, got spanked on Pig Heart Boy and Sole Power, but found a good project.

Went to Hugencroft, which was well, a bit wierd really.

Access 'path' must be a private joke, and I'm not in on it. And the landowner has a serious fence fetish. Otherwise plently to go at, did an ace slabby arete/rib and saw a couple of tempting lines. Its all a bit highball though, I'll take a rope next time.
(strictly speaking it was during last week and not at the weekend but I laugh in the face of your ridiculous conventions - ha-ha-ha)
