the b8 traverse in c/fax does it just traverse the shoulder high break with your feet in the low break.cos if it does this leads to a no hands rest before linking in to the b6.given the start as i've described is'nt very hard the b8 grade[usually=v6/7font7a/7a+] seems abit high

The trav is a bit crap and arbitary. You do use the low ledge as far as the end of the first big wide break, from then on it's out of bounds. You could try it without the low ledge, but it would be pretty poxy. The up probs are heaps better.

so as you turn the edge of the break in to the b6 the lower is then out,is that what you mean.

i watched the welford bailing off the top of one of the things up the middle that was scarey enough for me.

Aye that's the story, pretty soft-touch seeing as you can get legs wedgeed in the low break and virtually take bothe hands off.

If you want a bit of traverse action on the pet rock you could try starting on the right side of the slopey shelf and traverse leftwards finishing on the left up problem. It's pretty good fun.

did this the other way, which is the last third of the b9 in the cocfax.
conditions were a bit weird on sat here.the break under the roof i.e on the b6 seemed to have it's own micro climate in that it felt like you were putting your hand's in a bucket of ice when you touched the hold's.
