I was in Lancaster Saturday - not climbing - but the weather was a bit grotty/underwhelming. Red Wall at Trowbarrow can traditionally handle a bit of light rain?

I was more wondering about seepage wise. I think the weather actually looks not too bad tomorrow.

The underside of plumb buttress (particularly feet for Voodoo) remains fairly drippy from what I recall.

The weather last night was atrocious so I'd be surprised if it were dry. It's westerly facing and so would only get sun in the evenings to dry out any seepage.

I cannot say for definite though, just it wouldn't be my first port of call. I think I remember Greg C saying many years ago it's a good winter venue if it's been dry for a few consecutive days (and it has not)

Maybe the Greg C I mentioned knows that Greg C who wrote the guide. Small world! I think they may even work at the same company...

I would have thought Farleton would have some dry lines potentially

Did you get out in the end? Today was one of those days where it wasn't forecast to be nice but then was. I thought it was decent grit cons when out with the dog, but only on stuff exposed to the wind I'd have thought.

Nah, got up early and had a fingerboard session as it was raining.  :boohoo:
