In case it's interesting for anyone. This cost about 10€ plus some spare wood that was lying around. It just slots onto the big roof ridge and stabilises with a couple of bolts and t-nuts that can be threaded by hand. Putting it on or off takes about 10 seconds. The bolts rest against the inside of the door rail and are taped up to avoid scratching. Feels really bomber.
