Thinking about buying the moon cirrus after seeing my friend dislocate his ankle falling between pads. Fortunately it popped right back in but its not the first time I've seen ankle injuries from feet falling between matts. I currently have 3 moon matts, so before I become more of a walking advert, does anyone know of any suitable competitors to the Cirrus I should be considering? The closest I've seen is the Petzl Nimbo but I would prefer something which folds out larger... like the Cirrus. Anyone have a Cirrus and rate it?

See here, I really rate the Cirrus, not just for the instance noted in that thread but also as a stand alone pad for when you're low to the ground or want some ground coverage

Yep, was also thinking it would make a good stand alone in some cases.
Also considering a couple of these cheap foldable gym mats, though the material doesn't look suitably hardwearing
