I always thought the Falkirk Wheel was just a big wheel, I might actually bother to go and have a look at it now I have been educated.

It's a marvel of modern engineering. You can even go for a ride on a barge and go up and down on it. Along with all the OAPs.

I personally wouldn't bother but it is definitely worth a look if you are passing and have a bit of time. Nice teashop too.

Did he used to break himself when he tripped over them? Guess it runs in the family 

Ps I did get taken to hospital when I was a kid when I fell off a chair and cracked my head open on a Lego brick so I sympathise with your dad.
