Quality non climbing pics (Read 506630 times)

Mate of mine used to climb those for a living, to record data for research. He discovered one bees nest too many and decided it was best to stop the day he cocked up his SRT and nearly took a groundfall.

Great pic though, I tried, and failed, to get any decent ones.

The photo of the Redwood is amazing. I've been showing it to everyone in work today. I started folding out the National Geographic fold out and it kept on coming.

The boughs are so large that they support soil and ecosystems form up there. In some layers of the soil they have found crustaceans that they believe swim up the trunks during rainstorms
