I imagine it could work quite well with climbing shots.

If you can get the person to hold still for long enough (or if you have 4 camera's side by side, all set up exactly the same)

Not so much the quality of the photo but the quality  :o of the implications. The strapline for the photo, again from the Big Picture, makes the image quite eerie!!!

Quote
In the lower center of this photograph, mounted on the blue platform, is the head of a silkmoth, including its brain and antennae, with electrodes linking the brain to the vehicle during an experiment at a laboratory in Tokyo on June 9, 2009. Japanese scientists at the Tokyo University's Research Centre for Advanced Science and Technology found that motor commands sent to the vehicle in response to odour stimuli could be translated into signals to steer the machine in real time, in an experiment toward creating insect-machine hybrids. Potential future scernarios might include law enforcement technicians releasing a swarm of robot-moths to sniff out a distant drug stash.

"A rare type of cloud known as a Morning Glory cloud can stretch 1,000 kilometers long and occur at altitudes up to two kilometers high. Although similar roll clouds have been seen at specific places across the world, the ones over Burketown, Queensland Australia occur predictably every spring. Long, horizontal, circulating tubes of air might form when flowing, moist, cooling air encounters an inversion layer, an atmospheric layer where air temperature atypically increases with height. These tubes and surrounding air could cause dangerous turbulence for airplanes when clear. Morning Glory clouds can reportedly achieve an airspeed of 60 kilometers per hour over a surface with little discernible wind. Pictured above, photographer Mick Petroff photographed some Morning Glory clouds from his airplane near the Gulf of Carpentaria, Australia."

Really?  Apologies, shall bear this facet of NSFW in mind in the future, no harm malice intended (probably worth using a proxy server though so you don't get caught out by such things, FoxyProxy is pretty good, and remember to clear your cache too if its really a potential problem).

Well, it's blocked by our work, therefore deemed NSFW, by our IT Dept :) But so are many things.

Its a link to the Erowid entry on Morning Glory plants, the seeds of which contain the chemical LSA which is a precursor to LSD and has psychedelic preoperties (so not massively surprising IT block it).
