It's up on Blackrock Mountain in Whistler.

I'm uber psyched for a riding trip to Canada if i ever get the cash together. Had a nice little session in Wharners today with Fatboyslimfast and NortonSharley :)

If you're ever up for some DH stuff in Wharncliffe, let me know, as all my housemates derive their pleasure from riding up hills which doesn't suit me at all...

We're often up there on a Sunday so if you're going up then drop us a PM - was a bit slippy today but messed about on the top half of Fasttrack, did a couple of Nemba runs, played on the easier bits of  No Human, then a Peaty's run  and did a Diamond Back run to finish. I'm trashed from all the pushing up!

Just don't let HongKongStuey show you his pictures.....
Let me know if you're ever coming over this way Bubba - I can find you some local downhillers to show you what's what - I live on the North Shore.

you mean this one....

I'd say go - I'm just a useless fool on a mountain bike that doesn't know my own limitations (some say I'm similar on the rock face too)

The place is completely lethal but oh so much fun (until something like this happens that is - nevertheless, I was lucky, from what I heard the girl in the cubicle next will be lucky if she ever walks again...)

Cheers Andy :)

I'd be taking it very easy out there - some of the stuff in videos is just mental and 40 year olds don't bounce very well.

Ouch! Looking good stu! Is that stitched? What did you do? over the bars? I reckon bouldering at Squamish combined with some biking at Whistler would be great fun.

Nice shuttle pic.

I remember watching the 1st shuttle launch on TV, I was 8 and living in Chaddeston, Derby.  It was 1980 if I recall correctly . . .

Almost, it was 1981, don't know where you were living though.

Found this pic of the south coast of Devon taking a battering courtesy of the low-pressure weather the countries been experiencing of late.  Its apparently the Sennen area and the waves are crashing > 20-0ft.  note the person stood on the top for scale.  :o

The main guy, everyones priceless expressions...one of the best action shots I've ever seen

Apparently the guy hit the ground running, rolled a few times and walked away

In a similar vein:

Love the way the guy just takes it on the chin.
Also, the little baby trying to fly away is good.

They're both wicked pics, have seen the first before and just thought "ouch!", it seems everyone but the guy who got hit saw it coming.

Ja, great Shuttle pics Bubs, beautiful.  I want to go into space.  I'd risk it all just to look down upon Earth, squint my eyes, hold up my finger & thunb and go: I'm squishing your head, I'm squishing your head to the planet.

The pics really impress upon you what an old hotpotch nearly 40 year old craft the Shuttle is.  Can't wait for the next generation to arrive.  Been waiting long enough . . .

Think W probably spent all the money for it elsewhere.  Love how cobbled together the shuttle looks - all the bits at the front look like they were riveted on as an afterthought.  Great pics though.
