Picture of Guillemot (I think?) chowing down (on some sort of fishy?) in Caithness.

This pic is gagging for a caption, if anyone fancies it.

That's a Black Guillemot. I've seen loads of the normal ones but never seen a black one.

They are pretty cute birds. Amazing in the air and fishing in the sea, but useless at landing on the cliffs. Wish I had a video camer with me, pure comedy.

Any idea on the fish? Blenny or something?

Mmmm Blenny's a fair guess, hard to tell with it's head at that angle.

Cheers guys. There are loads of Black Guillemots up there, couldn't throw a hex without hitting one. Pretty sure we was some puffins when we were swimming the other night, quite cool to see.

No drugs at the time, I can corroborate the presence of the puffins independently. Unless North Sea cold or nearby jellyfish in the sea can have a mind altering effect.

I thank you!
Get loads of them around the rocks on west coast of ireland.

I haven't seen a black guillemot either, but a very handsome bird nonetheless.
