The thing is, when one is as fly as me, the actual act of "flying" is a simple natural progression.
All one does is go to the airport, pay the good man* 30 pounds and chocks away!

I don't want Nodder to get a stalker or anything, but you can clearly see his house in that photo of Cwm.

yeah the fill-flash does contribute to the effect, but something about the scale/ angle of the bike looks wierd. Guess the leaves must be bigger out there...

The perspective does look strange - his angle looks weird too, compared to where he's taken off, but I think that's because he's pushed the rear wheel to his right in the air, whatever the name for that is.

Definitely showing off - but then people also say that it's better to do some sort of trick in the air in order to maintain better control over the bike. I'm still at the panic and try to land without pain stage.

I've heard people make similar claims about doing grabs on a snowboard. Surely the whole original idea of grabs in skateboarding was to keep the board under your feet while in the air; isn't that what bindings do?

I guess it keeps you actively controlling the bike/board in the air instead of just letting it do it's own thing with you following. Dunno, but there's gotta be something in it.

Matt Hoffman breaking the world record for height out of a vert ramp, he was towed into the ramp by a motorbike and as a result went quite high!

Surely you've been higher than that by now Burno? You've had 3 months of practising in the kiddies playground.

Well of course I ve gone higher, when no ones looking. Even after 3 months practise I think you would struggle to get 25ft out of a 3ft quarter!

Pish tosh, you're just being negative.

I'll tow you in with the Poogeot. We'll get you going 25ft in one direction or another.

Sounds like a plan so long as you don't hit wet leaves and end up taking flight in the 206.

The sight of somebody as tall as the Burns on a bmx has got to be pure comedy ;)

bmx is cool though - I've got new found respect for those guys after riding some tracks on my Ms-Isle.
