Lots of us know all about Crag X, and know it's real name, but we don't want to know that here.
Q Why is it known as "Crag X"?
A Because it's real name reveals it's location.
Q Why is it all so hush hush? Isn't this a bit elitist?
A It's not publiced because it sits bang smack in an SSSI. Nobody is really supposed to go there. Those that do know never to stray from the path or the immediate crag area.
Q Isn't it already in the guidebooks?
A Yes, it is in some old guides, but no, it's not the same place as the sport climbing crag also known as Crag X.
Q Can we talk about it on ukb?
A Yes, so long as it's always known as Crag X and not it's real name.
Q So why this FAQ then, idiot?
A Because hopefully it will stop me having to edit posts that talk about it and it's location.
It's worth noting that unless you're very strong indeed, there's no point in going there. There is nothing remotely easy.
If you do go there, don't stray from the crag
Do not touch any other rock in the valley, or even venture into other parts of the valley - if you do, you are a fuckwit.
