Trying to bust a Roaches groove, or maybe throwing a Third Cloud shape tomorrow. The weather may well lash it down but I dont care. I gotta do some climbing...

Depends on lifts though really. I gotta get me a mozz-mobile.

Slipstones again yesterday - bit crowded, must have been 8 other people there

Nice day, but still didn't manage Micro Corner, despite falling off the last move going for the top about 10 times.

I now have no skin left whatsoever. My left palm is like a peeled grapefruit.

That  Steve Dunning thing, 'Super Furry Animals' is sooooooo impressive. 1 move, brutal power required.

Me and scouse went to burbage, failed on WSS, again, tried that dyno at the bridge (rocket man 7b+?), hit the top but didn't hold it. Went to t'buckstone, scouse iced the dyno like a bad cake - nice one. One of my fingers is so sore as to render it unuseable for typing, and last weeks scars from Porth Ysgo are only just healing....

Yes, 'tis Rocketman done by Rob Smith I think, and 7b+ seems to be 'bout right judging from past discussions on various climbing forums...

Yeah, I think so - It was him who claimed it anyway (according to underground, anyway) but you're probably right and Jason will have done it back in the 80's in a nasty pair of lycra tights.

I'd heard Whillans made an early ascent whilst dealing out a bitch slap to his wife.

What are you talking about.
Ivar Berg nonchalently soloed it first thing in the morning after an uncomfortable night spent bivying under Remergence.

Just a little thanks to you all for not turning up to the County yesterday where the conditions at Back Bowden were the most mintiest conditions ever.  Not a sole in sight, except the rest of our team of course.  Even got a suntan.  :P

So Jon's going all happy clappy? I knew he should never have moved into a hosue opposite a catholic church - he'll be renouncing us all for being satan's desciples next

Even Underground said he fancied bouldering again.....that is, until first time out when he gashes his hand open as per usual....

Don't think I can make Sat either now! Car is getting serviced, and then I've got one of them free trial days at Esporta with Sel. Should be a laugh, but I won't be joining Esporta - it's about £60 p/month or something!

Dobbin,

Just go out and take pictures. There should be lots of people out there. Try to remember what you were trying to do and see what works.
