Happy birthday Simon
Anyone got a cure for old age?
Committed to go on a trip to Mingulay at the start of June with a group I scarcely know. Had to look up where it is. Not placed any gear for a couple of years and my rack belongs in a museum. What could possibly go wrong?

It's a wonderful island with amazing coarse rock and a big feel on the main cliff with your back to the raging Atlantic. Invest in ab rope protectors. Gear was fine on the route and I did, and I'm quite crap at it. The whole journey out there and the stop off on Barra are the highlights of my climbing life.

No more easy finishing moves

Space in the boat for Mingulay and the chalet at Briancon..
