Hunter's Roof RH variant
March 04, 2021, 09:23:00 pm
Anyone done this recently enough to remember the beta for coming out the right side of the arete rather than turning it and heading up the full problem? Tried just before Christmas and I couldn't work out the right beta.

Presume you mean the Hunter's Roof at Hunter's Stones?

If so, don't you mean going up the left side of the arete? In the full problem you turn the arete and finish on its right. For the shorter variant it's a case of getting your right hand on the nose and then it's a big rock over off a left heel.

Whoops. My bad. Yup, totally meant left hand variant. Christ, good jobs someone's on the ball. Big rock over on left foot then is it? I think that seemed the most likely beta last time. I'll start warming up my hips then. That is a big rock over...
