In this virtual font trip - can there be a global Zoom and TEAMs outage for 48 hours please?

Goes without saying. Patchy wi-fi / 4G in the forest anyway. Just enough to stream Netflix in the evening though.

This is Onde de Choc all over again.

Well after more of a siege than I'd hoped for I've seen off Tout Du Cul De Chien, this time round Chris led the way. Cheers to Nai and Plattsy for the pads and the encouragement.

We knocked off the cryptic too for good measure. Off to Sabots for a potter round the reds at the car park end, and a few obligatory throws at Jet Set.

You've done ALL of Cul de Chien? Good work. I've only done the Toit.

I've come off the mat and rolled my ankle, TBH I'll probably never mention it again so crack on without me.

I've been out since 7am. Cuvier was blissfully quiet

I went to Cuvier that early once. It was interesting.  More middle age men in suits than usual.

Perfect excuse to go for a random walk in the forest.

Haha, I've been at that sort of time on several occasions and the only other people I've seen were a class of children with teachers out for a geology trip or something.

Don't let the missus see that one, she's a French teacher!

I fancy the blue circuit at Cul de Chien, followed by some frisbee on the sand.

Shout. Haven't been for years and was just thinking about the reds, memory has them as quite a friendly circuit.

Hopefully they'll be a good warm up then I'll give lukeyboy a wagon race and open my account on Rubis

Really chuffed to haul my way up Rubis, after a satisfying battle and another last go on thin skin. Cheers nai for the spot and nice one, you made it look far smoother than I did. Back to the gite for an early finish.

Count me in for that run tomorrow SA Chris.

I've just spoken to the owner of Auberge Canard at Buthiers. He says that there are plenty of tables available for a late lunch tomorrow.

He also said that he has a garage full of 50cm thick gymnastic pads that we can use on the highball circuits there.

Anyone else coming there with me tomorrow?

Consistently been the best place for getting completely lost without finding the boulders that I've been to. Unlikley to have that sort of misfortune in Vfont though I guess.

EDIT: Buthiers sounds good though, team and paddage might prevent the backing-off issues I've had there previously.

I'm up for it, will you pick up the "bouche de canard" for lunch?

While we are in V Land, everyone in the trip syndicate get a ticket for the £180m Euromillions, we'll split it when we win.

Just think. We arrive in the Forest in our Fabias and Jazzs; we all leave driving a 93 plate BMW M5. Back to our jobs beating the shit out of a piece of glowing metal in Sheffield.
