10 minutes of effort
February 16, 2021, 12:30:24 pm
Hi all,
So I've been reading the thread about the low effort fingerboarding and saw the 10 minute peak loadings graph (https://www.instagram.com/p/BM6Q85DBlZl/?igshid=2cfevrjc815v) and discussions.
What I was wondering is how does this principal apply to mixing grip type, fingers and arms?
For example if I do 10 minutes of hanging time all open handed that's fine, but what if I do 5 mins open 5 mins crimped does this translate as 10 mins total or because I am working different grip types should I actually do 10 mins of each?
Similar to this, what about left and right arm hangs and say front and back 3 mixing.
If I were to do 5 mins front 3 5 mins back 3 I presume this counts as 10 for middle 2 and 5 each for index and pinkie (so I should spend 5 mins doing index and pinkie mono.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be great.

From what I understand it's about when the tendons and nerves stop sending signals to the brain that adaptation is needed, so I think grip type is fairly unimportant in that purely neurological sense.
