On walking to Tom's buttress at Woodwell this morning I disturbed quite a large brown bird with a nest in the trees nearby. It obviously wasn't happy to see me so I quickly moved to a different part of the crag. I didn't get a good look at its head but I think it may have been some type of owl. Wingspan getting on for 2 feet (I'm confident in that as it came very low.)
