Bologna vs Florence
October 26, 2018, 06:20:38 pm
Planning to take the family away next February half term (non-climbing). Considering Bologna or Florence.  Currently leaning more towards Bologna...

Any thoughts/experiences to help me decide would be very welcome.

Thanks!

Sorry beast, only just seen this.
I hope you went to Bologna, because if you went to Florence and didn't give me a shout I'd very disappointed!

Thanks Lore! Afraid we put it off, other half is a bit so-so on the idea. Florence is still definitely on my must-see list!

I've only spent a half day in Florence but thought it was pretty gross - just too busy to be enjoyable. I thought Siena was much nicer (plus I got to meet Lore).

Hey, if you ever decide to go to Florence give me shout really! Siena is only one hour away.
Andy, cheers, I agree!
And it was really cool to meet!

Bologna was ace when we went but not sure how much fun it would be for kids.

Ducati Factory visit was the highlight of my short stay in Bologna.

Thank you, that would be great! Might have a few non-climbers in tow of course!
