Document/Book Scanning

Brethern...

Anyone used a paid for service?

I've got a whole bunch of old historic (caving) club journals/newsletters etc. that I'd like to get scanned and put up online.

I the same way that the stoney cafe log books etc have been.  However, there's too much for me to do personally and the club is willing to pay a bit of cash to have it done.

Just wondered if anyone had any recommendations.

(We have about 20 Journals - each of on average about 50 pages. These are quite delicate, with the odd rusty staple etc. I'm guessing these could be done on a book scanner. We also so have about 65 newsletters. These are on average 2 or 3 sides, either A4 or the older ones are 8" by 13".  Again, there are a lot of rusty staples in the top left corner on these as the older ones date back to the 1960s. )
