I've been stalking the logbook of that there youth, James Turnbull (the young, Yorkshire one; not the older, Peak one) and thought I'd post up what he's done thus far in October.
Crow CragCrow's Nest - 6C: "Just down and right of Narrow Buttress. Short hanging arete starting with LH undercuts and RH crimp finishing by the tree. No footblocks."
Yeadon CragOakenshield - 7A+: This one looks really good. Start in the same place as
The Arkenstone (possibly unrepeated. James has apparently tried this twice but hasn't cracked the crux
). Climb out and right following the bulge to a direct finish up a runnel. Very psyched to go and try this.
BrimhamFinders Keepers - 7A: Highball left arête of the main keeper crack buttress. Steady climbing leads to a worrying stretch to the top and a tricky topout.
The Prize - 7B+: King line that seems to have escaped notice somehow.
https://www.instagram.com/p/BaSAaI5hR8r/?hl=enEavestoneIce Fall - 7B: "Connect the breaks up the center of the wall via a small pocket and a bushy topout." Assuming this is the glaringly obvious leaning wall right of The Serac. Should have tried it sometime.
Burn StonesThe Spine - 6B: Obvious prow next to Secret Service at right hand end of the crag.
Oil in my Lamp - 6C: Left lip of the Midnight Roof from the back.
Beds are Burning - 7B+: Sitter on the right of the Midnight Roof climbing into Midnight Oil Left via a jump.
