Currently in the process of trying to settle up on a pair of Mk5 1210s but for one reason and another I'm not sure if the sale will come off.

Are any of you aware of decent national retailers of second hand Technics? Preferably a store in the North or else somebody with a good reputation who sells online.

Not sure if it would be any use to you, but I've got a good friend selling some Mk2's. Doesn't want a massive amount I think, and they've only ever been used to mix gloriously placid prog house so they haven't been thrashed.

Been looking on Ebay recently, which does seem awash with them.  Guess the issue there is knowing if your buying knackered ones or not.

You're right Sam, ebay is flooded. Some people think they're selling Faberge eggs by the look of their pricing.

I belong to a record buying/selling group on FB called 4thewax for keen record collectors to trade and avoid the Discogs and other online marketplace prices - it's user moderated like UKB so there's little to no fraud and all the gear on sale is legit, in honest condition  and at a decent price.  Every week Turntables, CDJs and Mixers show up all the time and I've never seen anyone moaning.  There's a pair of 1210 Mk2's on sale now at 750 sheets.
