Balme de Yenne topo
August 03, 2017, 09:49:51 pm
Anyone know where to find one? An old thread has links that don't seem to work anymore. Is one still available online?

Also whilst your here, anyone have any info/experience of shady sport crags near the verdon? Sector hulk is it? Worth a visit? Just looking for alternatives to the usual ceuse etc

There's a Ramirole topo on Greenspit https://greenspits.com/fr/topo/la-ramirole-2/
Hulk is mostly in the Verdon 2010 guide. I haven't climbed much at any of them.

Balme de Yenne on Charlotte Durif's website http://chadurif.fr/topos/2/balme-de-yenne

Briançon is a natural alternative to Céüse. La Saume is good.

I can confirm that balme De yenne is indeed a quality crag. Really impressive main section with plenty to go at 7a+ upwards. The 6's on the left are also of really good quality.

Only slight downside for us was the proximity of the fairly noisy road. Not a particularly
Tranquil location, so we only stayed a day. But the quality is definitely worth it. Good cheap campsite in yenne.
