Crafnant guidebook/topo
April 11, 2017, 06:56:26 pm
Hopefully heading N. Wales next weekend, and Crafnant looks like a pretty fun place to visit. Just wondering if its covered in any guides, or if there are any topo's around?

I know the new North Wales Bouldering guide is in the works, but guessing its not going to come out in the next couple of weeks.

On phone so can't find it now,  but I started a thread about this last summer. IIRC I misspelt crafnant as 'craftnant' which may help you find it. Short story: no, but it's fairly easy with ukc and Google maps to find everything.

Cheers! I think i've watched enough videos that I'll be able to spot everything I want to climb now, will have a look for your thread.

Any north wales residents care to offer an opinion on conditions this Saturday? I've heard it needs a few dry days, and the forecasts say it hasn't been raining this week and probably wont till Sunday. Any idea from anyone in the area?

The only beta I can offer is that some wellies or waterproof boots are useful for the approach, it's quite boggy in places.
