Finally got round to visiting Ash Head yesterday, encouraged by Dave Sutcliffe's video and the excellent Unknown Stones pdf. What an incredible place. I added a couple of problems to the Coombs Crags area.
Catacoombs Right 6C
Start in break to right of Catacoombs start. Up to arete with left hand, launch for the top and mantel a cheval to finish. Also did Catacoombs without the arete as a nice variation.
Alphabet Aerobics 6C+
Mentioned as the unclimbed 'Project Wall' in the Alphabet Blocks part of Coombs Crags. The red wall left of the crack from standing. Not entirely sure about the grade but leg presses on small footholds without much for the hands aren't my strong point.
Also did a few of the problems in the main area. Kneeolithic and Knees Must are great although Kneeolithic must really be pushing the boundaries of 7A+ now as the 'nipple' hold seems to have gone. Dynominator was brick hard for 6C+/7A (more like 7A+).
