As well as @northless for early morning Stanage reports you can follow @snakepasswatch for a "worst case scenario" of general conditions (i.e. if the Snake Pass is shut then snow could be problematic around the Peak).

about 4 ish it was white over in leek but looked more on the hills

Drove home via Peak Forest/Froggatt at 5ish. Roads were fine, a couple of cm of settled snow on the ground at most. May be a different story once it all freezes tonight though!
