Sainsbo's? Don't you mean Sainsbizzle's?

Out of interest, is there a climbing magazine available in print or tablet that is worth subscribing to at the moment? Something with good pics and, more importantly, interesting and well written articles and opinion pieces. I tend to read stuff that appears on Footless Crow but wouldn't be adverse to paying for something if it was good.
I seem to remember Vertical having good pics but it was alpine-centric and not really what I'm into. As an American mag, is a British climber going to read much of relevance in Rock and Ice?

It is quite American centric, which isn't ideal if you've not climbed there, but the quality of the photography and general writing in the American mags is (IMO) very good.

The Ascent annuals are usually better than the average issues and good value

The latest one is free digitally if you fancy a read.

I do also think Climb is producing stuff of a high standard at the moment, but I only buy the occasional issue.

Alpinist. It is, obviously, alpine-centric but there is a surprising amount of pure rock climbing stuff, and the content is head, shoulders, chest and waist above the competition.
