20' Board - Repeated all the hardest problems pretty quickly: 2 x 7A+, 2 x 7A.

45' Board - Worked project from the other week, can do all but one move and linked in 2 halfs.

2 x 5 min on 5 min off warm down.

W: Partner started labour at 11:40pm..

T: Our 2nd child was born at 8:04am - Olivia Paige Owens, healthy and happy. Psyched!

FWIW (and Paul is on here very occasionally so may reply himself) I saw him this morning when stripping the steep circuit board and they're currently mulling making a less steep woody on the board immediately to the left (ie the old mirrorboard)

Given the relatively low hold density on the MB do you think it'd be possible to add further holds between the MB positions?

It would need to be significantly steeper than the mirror board was to be much cop (that was the problem with both the mirror board and the previous attempt at a systems board at UCR IMO), and to stop me voting with my feet. I bought TCA membership pretty much just to use the woody (with occasional use of UCR circuits for aerobic work). If the woody went i'd get Bloc membership, something which i'm fairly loathe to do Bloc seems to be blighted by people being cool to a greater extent than TCA.

Mon. Weights and dead hanging 5 second hands with 18.75 lbs added 5 sets of 5 seconds on 5 off repeaters to finish with 18.75 lbs added.
Tue. Physio. Turbo 39 mins.
Wed. Nothing.
Thu. Physio. Same deadhanging session s Monday. Turbo 39 mins.
Fri. Nothing.
Sat. Physio. Bike outside 41 mins 10.32 miles felt reasonably OK a bit of soreness in my Achilles ok afterwards.
Sun. Same as Monday.

Fair point but I'm getting older now, I have to exploit my hair whilst I still have some. Bloc also has more hot women climbing there, that's got to be a selling point if you can make use of it...

Haha, sums up my experience. Staff are nice though.

Granted there are more tats, hair dos and expensive rock shoes at bloc but its a better wall - taller, better staff, better campus boards (can't do foot on at TCA), better coffee, nicer place to be. Its a shame the clientele are a bit snooty. When I go I've taken to wearing really shit clothes and Decathalon own brand rock boots just to bring the place down a notch or two...

The cool kids are totally quaking in their boots.
