Harrison must be ever so slightly irked.

Rumour has it when Dean got back to the paddock the head honcho at kawasaki got a lengthy lecture about the numerous failings of his company and the bikes it produces delivered at considerable volume... mind you the bikes can't be that bad if they can manage a 134mph lap!!! (I say rumour, Deans dad told me. Chris says hi )

Pleased for Connor.

He didn't tell me. He was too busy being amused about this big cheese executive been verbally abused by his son to go into details  ;D

Can we be careful of spoiler alerts on here please.

ITV  has only so far screened SB1, Sidecar 1 and supersport 1.

Super stockers not on till tonight.  Luckily, I only know that its a new lap record, not who did it or who won it. Spoils the TV/Build up if you already know who won.

Its been scary watching this week.  Given the good conditions, the guys are pushing really really hard. Dean and Conner on the first lap of SB1 looked so close to the ragged edge.  It won't surprise me if there are more big accidents this week,  :'(

Sorry Sam  :wavecry:

I did write a longer piece about the supersport (which I watched  ;D) but then deleted it realising the coverage is on tonight... Didn't quite twig about my lap record comment, sorry.

I'll shut up now and stick to photos...

No worries Nic, - it was more Nibs comment - but no harm done. Its not exactly a surprise that another lap record has fallen.

New record!!!
https://www.iomtt.com/news/2018/06/04/superstock-tt-press-report

But also another loss.
 :(

I daren't even check the tv coverage schedule since I know there'll be some un-avoidable headlines.

Could someone post up the Race schedule, along with the ITV coverage schedule ...

I'm guessing tonights episode will cover Super Stocks Race 1, and or Supersport Race 2.

Saturday was:
Rst superbike - coverage saturday night
Sidecar race 1 - coverage sunday night
Monday was:
Supersport race 1
Superstock

I missed the coverage last night but i'd guess one of these would have been on last night and the other tonight?

Then weather permitting
Wednesday:
Supersport 2
TT zero
Lightweight
Coverage is usually supersport weds night and zero and lightweight combined on thursday

Friday:
Sidecar 2
Senior
Senior coverage is I think friday night and then i think it's sidecar/overall summary saturday.

The tv coverage is my best guess and the race schedule is clearly down to the weather.
Hope that helps.

Sorry Sam,
not having access to the coverage I always check the news and wrongly presume everyone else does so.

No worries Nibs,

I dont check the live news/twitter/radio etc since I want to watch the race on the TV, without knowing who's won, as it can be a bit boring if you know the result. Its just a bit of a pain that the coverage is sometimes a day or two behind.

Anyhow,  Does anyone agree that the presenting team on ITV this year qualify as #dullestpresentersevverrr

Matt is just Matt, just a bit dull with out the charisma of Craig Doyle,
Jodie Kidd adds absolutely zero.
Steve Plater is ok but he's not James Whittam (who I know is ill and I'm sure would much rather be there presenting)
And I'm really disappointed with Cam Donald as I was expecting a little more insight to the course, technique etc from a recent top level rider, but all he does is exclaim :
"look at [insert rider/bike] absolutely [screaming/pinned/squirming] as they go through [insert corner]" over and over again
in a kiwi accent

Definitely missing Craig Doyle.

Jodie Kidd adds a lot of height but not much besides (which is in many ways a great shame as she doubtless has motorsport 'racing' knowledge and could have worked really well and a female member of the presenting team is a good idea)

The Cam Donald comment seem pretty spot on, again a shame

Didn't see last nights coverage so can't comment on that.

On a seperate note I suspect that Dean Harrison will be very glad that his gentlemanly letting Dunlop through to finish 'first' didn't cost him second place (which it very nearly did, I don't think he realised that the Hickman/Hillier battle for third had them both still on fliers). As had he dropped the place his tirade to the kawasaki big cheese on monday would have come back to haunt him... :)

Yeah - at first I thought WTF, then remembers she's actually a proper petrol head with real racing experience. so yeah a shame.

More of the same to be honest.

I was surprised as they crossed the line just how close Hicky and Hiller were.   Psyched for Superstock race coverage tonight. .. no spoilers!!!!   Guessing it'll be a close one.

What's happened to Rutter this year, he had a great NW200, but just hasn't featured so far.
