1/1 - an hour or so of lugging around and chopping up wood.
2/1 - Beacon for a wall session. Got pumped on the roof circuits.
3/1 - mix of generic pushups, weights and that sort of thing. My finger feels a bit sore from yesterday.
4/1 - Wall is all being reset so I do some pullup sets and then potter home, where I have a go at a 7:3 fingerboard session, which feels very hard in my current state.
5/1 - finger completely better. Turbo trainer session - Sufferfest "The Hunted". Hard work.
6/1 - wall. Good progress on several problems. Too busy to do stamina and had forgotten good shoes for the board. Some pullups.
7/1 - wall. More problems worked out for ancap circuit. Board. Then tried some triples bit couldn't really make it work, have to try different problems. Pullups to finish.
8/1 - wall. Too busy for stamina, again. Frustrating. Problems for the AnCap circuit
9/1 - wall. Thin skin. Pushed on and did the boulder circuit ancap session - first circuit felt fairly steady but shuffled the order round a bit and felt very worked by the end of the second set. Skin too trashed to do anything else.
10/1 - Cuttings. Some easier routes and a few goes on Hall of Mirrors. Got it in two but knee a bit sore so didn't have that extra go.
11/1 - went out at lunch for a walk - about an hour. Otherwise rest
12/1 - wall. Board session. Progress on projects. Rammed! Need these New Years Resolution folk to get bored of it! Wide pulls ad bottom pulls.
13/1 am - fingerboard2. Double pullups on a 19mm edge at 95.5kg. Improvement over last time. Last set tried to upgrade to 96.6kg, managed 1 pullup but not a second.
13/1 pm - wall. Tried linked boulders, managed a solid first circuit, stepped up the difficulty a bit. However, it was making my elbows sore so I went home and did rehab.

Wed - 30 minute row this morning (6.5k) then routes at the wall this evening.  My regular climbing partner Martin was down so it was nice to have a partner.  Tied on to the sharp end for the first time and was pleased to find myself very relaxed leading again.

13. 20 mins stretching. 50 mins turbo average heart rate 138, max 171 calories burnt 509. Made own salad again.

By making your own salad, do you mean taking it out of the packet and putting it in a bowl?

No I mean opening a can of chick peas, chopping tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms, onions throwing them in a bowl along with some olives, humous and then taking some lettuce out of the packet and adding it to the bowl.
Given that level of effort its probably not far off one of your major workouts :2thumbsup:

Still on track, despite Cape Town being 30+ degrees celsius at the moment, which makes bouldering rather unpleasant.

I could do with that right now, combined with a lazy summer swell and some longboarding at Muizenburg.

If only that were the case - the South East is howling and has reduced any chance of surf pretty much anywhere accessible to almost nothing.

Its all relative.. anyway, how come you're back on the North Bank? Been run out of town, tarred and feathered with all your possessions packed into a waitrose bag? ;)

The missus got fed up with drive to work and the idea of living in a 17th century cottage may seem ideal but as soon as you finish one job, you find another to do.

14 - 2 hours indoor routes. Hooked up with randoms after a mate cancelled. Did okay, kept it steady and skin felt okay. 35 mins / 2 mile walk there, slightly less boring than yesterday.

Edit: Bavaria 0,0% , it was what coop had available. A bit more taste than other 0.0s but unfortunately that taste is too sweet, maybe a bit of sugar left in as it clocks in at 24 calories / 100ml compared to Sainsbury's Czech 0.5% at 17 calories, the latter is winning on taste. Still haven't got around to Fultoniouses suggestions, they are probably only in West End hipster supermarkets.

16 - 1.45 hours gym. Felt weak, used light weights. 5 mins rowing warm-up, 3x10 chest raises, 3x10 tricep presses, 3x10 pullups (desperate, felt heavy), 10 mins arm cycling, 5 x 10 sit-ups including 3 sets with arse of bench, 10 mins rec cycling (desperate, right leg so sore felt like a dead leg), 10 mins arm cycling, 10 mins rec cycling (less rubbish), 3x10 bicep curls alternation with 3x10 clean and jerk compound thing (had to sit down after as usual).

Struggling in general. Bad motivation and lack of general enthusiasm in and around me. The potential for moral support on here is okay but it's not the same as local friendly psyche.
