I didn't include the distance I covered in needing to go in for a piss then back outside for a trolley.

The increased heart rate due to being in £Waitrose means that you did the equivalent of 30 minutes browsing at 8000m

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/news/britains-cheapest-supermarket-waitrose-comes-top-of-which-annual-best-buy-rankings-for-own-brand-a6792856.html

Stick to their own brand stuff, pikey.

Taken from the comments on the link above:

"study comparing 160 different own brand food, drink, cleaning products, batteries and sunscreens to see which represented the best value for money."

"despite Waitrose’s victory, Sainsbury’s and Lidl were still rated the best when it came to food, drink and household products."

At least 1h walking plus a bit of light swimming everyday. Managed to climb nothing at Railay but my shoes in my bag made a nice pillow for the beach.

Back to realistic prices and decent Thai food.

1 - weights session
2 - core and theraband
3 - CV session at home
4 - quick jog to try get some photos at breakwater in near darkness, then 2 hour session at wall. Felt OK, but heavy
5 - 20 min walk, light core session
6 - 40 min walk, 2 hour wall session. Climbed OK, but feeling jaded. Mates left early and I was 1 of 2 actually bouldering, but ended up just lapping a few easier problems - (I guess working towards 4 x 4s, but more like 3 x 3s)
7- ten minute run in pissing rain from bus stop to train station to get car after all trains cancelled due to flooding. 25 min cardio at home - realised I'm skiing in 3.5 weeks, and not done much cardio in a while.
8 - twenty min walk from car to work, and same on way back, tried doing some deadlifts and squats.
9 - morning swim with daughter, twenty min walk in pissing rain with kids. Weights.
10 - 20 min walk with kids, out on bike for an hour after dark. Cold but dressed right for it, only thing that suffered was thumbs went numb.
11 - lowest output day so far. Managed 10 mins of theraband while waiting at swimming lessons, and about 10 mins at home, spent rest of evening working. Probably mark it up as a fail.

11th - 20 min walk
1 hour of nervously waiting to do a uni presentation, then 20 minutes of shaking like a shitting dog,  4 hours of sitting on my arse watching other presentations
 20 min walk
15 min cycle to TCA
3 hours bouldering (felt heavy and weak, failing miserably to get up problems that I flashed a month ago - got a bit better at the end)
15 min cycle home

20 min cycle to friends for dinner (2 beers, one dram)
20 min home.

Weight resolutely staying above 75kg. Training More Eating Same (TMES)

Meh.

Day 1: Depot session.

Day 2: 5 mile run - 47 mins.Day 3: 500 squats.

Day 4: Depot session.

Day 5: Gym session - row / barbell shoulder complex / pushups / bicep curls.

Day 6: 30 min "Boot Camp" at gym then brutal finisher of 10 jumping squats, then 9 jumping squats / 1 burpee, then 8 jumping squats / 2 burpees etc until round the houses to 10 burpees.

Day 7: Depot session on new V5-V7 purples, flashed a few and generally felt I'd tried hard.

Day 8: 500m row sub 2 mins then HIIT class at gym.

Day 9: Fail...nothing, unless you count tidying up the bathroom floor tile sealant.

Day 10: Visit to scope out Depot Manchester. Ended up there for nearly 4 hours, most of it going at it like Richie Patterson's dog.

Day 11: Depot session after work - despite feeling totally battered climbed OK, knocked off a couple of the V5-V7 purples.

Day 12: Feel like I've been hit by a bus. No chance I'm doing anything today!

I did light the woodburner and carry some wood in to the house. Also I had to make my own salad. Its tough being this dedicated.

I've been to the East Riding Waitrose - and the nearest thing to spa and bouldering facility looked like some staff having a fag by the bins around the back.

Though I understand that Webbo has moved south of the Humber - so possibly such things exist in plush NE Lincs.

Though frankly I'm disgusted that a loyal Waitrose customer like Webbo - who sweats - his way around a 30 min supermarket workout HAS TO MAKE HIS OWN SALAD! What kind of Dickensian workhouse style society are we living in nowadays?

I'm afraid you are so out of date as NE Lincs is past history. I have been a resident of the East Riding since December 2015 we had to move back due to the fact the nearest Waitrose was in the East Riding.

Still on track, despite Cape Town being 30+ degrees celsius at the moment, which makes bouldering rather unpleasant.

Still on track, despite Cape Town being 30+ degrees celsius at the moment, which makes bouldering rather unpleasant.

I could do with that right now, combined with a lazy summer swell and some longboarding at Muizenburg.

11 - lowest output day so far. Managed 10 mins of theraband while waiting at swimming lessons, and about 10 mins at home, spent rest of evening working. Probably mark it up as a fail.
12- Some CV, squats, deadlifts (of a sort - using 2 heaviest kettlebells) knees make worryoing clicky noises though. Add a bit of core. Weight this morning 13st 8, one lb above my acceptable "top" limit. Convinced no sweets, chocolate or crisps all week is what has made the difference.

13 - 2 hours indoor bouldering. Rubbish and depressed for half the session, couldn't even do the moves on a circuit traverse I did in overlapping halves before. Skin utterly terrible, warming up any edgy hold felt like my fingertips were trapped in an ice-cold vice and then had 80kg of obesity dragging them slowly out. Eventually did okay but felt like I'd lost the benefits of one full week's training in just one day off. 1 hour / 4 miles walk there and back, boring, maybe compensates for yesterday.
